With a passion for the last century, I use the classic processing methods of tailoring, firstly to bring forgotten treasures back to life, and secondly to create new treasures.
Early in my apprenticeship as a women’s and men’s tailor, I developed a passion for historical and traditional patterns, fabrics, and garments. In a small, charming craft workshop, I was able to sew my first costumes and gain valuable experience. After my apprenticeship, I was drawn to the Meiningen State Theatre. The hustle and bustle of the theatre world was right up my alley. There was always something to do there: sewing imaginative costumes, altering them, fitting them. A wonderful world..
Another subsequent step in my career was studying product development for fashion at the State Fashion School in Stuttgart. Here I also came into contact with the latest design techniques and, among other things, developed my own collection using CAD. The appeal lay in combining modernity and tradition.
After further experience working in a costume rental shop, in the bridal sector, and in bespoke tailoring, I decided to take the plunge into self-employment. To this end, I completed my master tailoring certification for men’s and women’s clothing in Berlin and Dresden. Having successfully passed my exams, I finally started my own business in 2015.
My career spans over 25 years of professional experience, including more than a decade as a successful entrepreneur.
